Welcome To Great Cressingham Victorian School

Information

School Visits are free of charge. Over the many years the school has been operating it has proved immensely popular with both teachers and scholars and so it is essential to book as early as possible.

For further details, click here to contact Sally North.

Great Cressingham Victorian School is south-east of Swaffham, Norfolk, as shown in this map:

It is important that the children are well prepared. The classroom is very formal although no punishment will be threatened or administered.

Appropriate dress adds to the enjoyment of a visit - there are a small number of pinafores, caps and waistcoats to borrow. If schools stay for lunch, their picnics should be Victorian e.g. bread cheese apples cake etc. Mugs of water are provided.

It is essential that school staff are prepared to participate in and supervise all activities outside the classroom lesson.
